Regular exercising would lead you to complete fitness

April 20th, 2010

You should maintain an ideal time for exercising and follow the duration regularly in order to remain fit. If you really want to loose weight then you have to workout for at least forty five minutes. You should exercise in a comfortable pace by starting with a warm up and stopping with a cool down. Beginning to exercise without a warm up would lead to exhaustion and would make your body very tired. Starting and stopping abruptly is not at all recommended and hence you need to increase your heart rate very gradually and after the actual paces of exercise do not forget to bring back your heart rate to normal very gradually, which can be seen with a Reebok strapless heart rate monitor. Outdoor Lighting and Outdoor Entertaining go Hand in Hand

April 1st, 2010

I have really enjoyed my outdoor lighting this winter. I have to admit, the initial cost of the lighting was quite high. I did not think it was worth the money. But I have really grown to like the lighting for the security and for how pretty it makes the front of my house look. When I come home from work at the end of the day it is dark. It makes me feel like I have missed out on so much. But these days my house is well lit and welcoming. Read the rest of this entry »

Delightful Mother’s Day Gift Basket

March 2nd, 2010

My wife and I have 2 small children, and I have already given her a charm bracelet with their names on it, so I was looking for a new gift idea. The kids are too small to really make gifts, and I know they can always do that in the future as they get older. I need something for this year. I went through the usual new clothes, new purse, perfume ideas, but it’s too hard to get it right. You know how exasperated women can be when you screw it up! I need something fool-proof. A woman co-worker (an “expert” on women) suggested a gift basket. I thought “that’s it!” Yes, I’ll send her a gift basket that will surprise her and make her happy!

This turned out to be so easy I almost couldn’t believe I hadn’t thought of it sooner…I guess I don’t think like a woman! Anyway, Christmas time my company sent me a gourmet Christmas basket that was really, really nice. It had things in it we could all enjoy, so I decided to see what I could order from that same company. Turns out they had quite a few gift baskets she would like. After reading the descriptions I decided I couldn’t loose with a basket called “Mother’s Day Delights“. It allows you to choose a bottle of wine from four options…that way I can choose one of her favorite bottles, it includes a chocolate rose, Angelina’s Sweet Butter Cookies, dark chocolate and toffee wafers, key lime white chocolate cookies and many more things she’ll love. I don’t have to wrap anything, and she’ll love the way it’s packaged. My frugal wife can reuse the basket. I really scored with this gift!

February 22nd, 2010

Monkey charms, pendants and earrings. What a lot of choices for a monkey-mad lady! I started collecting unique handmade jewelry when my mom dragged me around to art shows as a teenager, but lately I have refined my search. There aren’t a lot of jewelry designers who make a really adorable, but not overly-cute monkey. But I have found one! This online jewelry site has several choices, and I only wish they had about twenty more! But I know it takes time to design jewelry in sterling silver, and I’m trying to be patient.
