Ivanhoe Sword – A Richly Decorated Sword

The Ivanhoe Sword is a medieval sword that is a replica creation of Marto. The sword is created in commemoration of the great literary hero from Sir Walter Scott’s book Ivanhoe. This novel was based in 12th century England. This is possibly one of the most popular swords that any collector would love to add to his collection.

The blade of this sword is made of tempered stainless steel grade AISI 440 which does not require any kind of high maintenance. The bronze plated hilt is embellished with intricate designs and show gryphons, heraldic lions, unicorns and also a green gemstone. The blade is mirror polishes and has fullers on either side of it.

The blades of the sword are made of 420 J2 stainless steel which is hand polished to give it a unique look.  The blade is tempered so that it has a 48-53 type of Rockwell hardness. The length of the sword is 39 inches while the blade is not sharpened since it is only meant for display purposes. You could proudly display this sword at your home.
