I have really enjoyed my outdoor lighting this winter. I have to admit, the initial cost of the lighting was quite high. I did not think it was worth the money. But I have really grown to like the lighting for the security and for how pretty it makes the front of my house look. When I come home from work at the end of the day it is dark. It makes me feel like I have missed out on so much. But these days my house is well lit and welcoming.

I plan to expand my outdoor lighting this year so that my backyard is well lit. I would love to do more outdoor entertaining. If my patio and deck were better lit I would feel so much better about having my friends over to my house in the evenings. We all work so the only time we have to get together and have fun is the evenings. I also think that well placed outdoor lighting will make my garden plants show up better at night. I have gone to almost all white flowers so that they show up in the dark. This year I am ready to take it to the next level.
